Adjustment method of spindle clamping force of radial drilling machine

The radial arm drill is a branch of the drilling machine, named after the horizontal arm can rotate around the column. Take the model Z3050×16 as an example, the capital letter Z is the abbreviation of the drilling machine, 30 is the radial arm, 50 is the diameter of the drill hole at the back, and ×16 is the arm length.


How to adjust the clamping force of the spindle of the radial drilling machine?


After the radial drilling machine is used for a period of time, the headstock may shake, which will affect the machining accuracy. If the clamping force of the spindle box of the radial drilling machine is insufficient, the spindle box can be loosened, and the forbidden bolt under the clamping cylinder can be loosened, so that the screw can move to the proper position along the notch groove, then clamp the screw again, and tighten the spindle If the spindle box does not move, it means that the adjustment is appropriate. However, after the spindle box is released, the spindle box can be moved with a force of no more than 60N on the handwheel.


The guide rail surface of the combination of the spindle box and the rocker arm of the radial drilling machine has a large matching clearance, the clamping block of the spindle box is not in the right position, and the joint of the clamping cylinder and the brake frame leaks oil or oil leakage from the oil pipe; the diamond-shaped block, the interference is not enough, can not make it stand up. The gap between the headstock and the rocker arm guide is adjusted by the inclined iron. It is easy to adjust the shaking of the headstock of the radial arm drill, just adjust the screws at both ends of the inclined iron to drive the inclined iron and adjust it to a suitable position.


First, loosen the screw to move the part, and the clamping force can be adjusted. The clamping force is adjusted to apply 392N peripheral force on the edge of the spindle moving handwheel, and the spindle box must not be loosened. The clearance between the screw and adjusting rocker arm and the joint surface of the guide rail of the headstock shall be inspected with a 0.04mm feeler gauge. The insertion depth shall not be greater than 20mm, and the requirement that the headstock can be moved by applying a circumferential force on the edge of the moving handwheel of the headstock can be moved after adjustment. The adjusting screw must be tightened.
