What precautions should be taken when operating a CNC machining center?

1. Before starting the machine, confirm the blank model, size, and machining allowance against the program sheet, and perform sanding and grinding on the blank.

2. After starting the machine, confirm the workpiece placement and machining sequence, and complete the calibration operation.

3. When centering, if a centering bar is required, the rotation speed is 501 RPM. If a cutting tool is used, the rotation speed depends on the tool. During this process, ensure that measurements are taken at the same height to guarantee centering accuracy. After centering, use "G0 G54 X0 Y0" for verification.

4. Before formal machining, have the programmer confirm the workpiece placement and measurement accuracy.

C. Machining Precautions

1. Before each program, strictly confirm that the tool used is consistent with the program.

2. When loading the tool, confirm that the tool length and the selected tool holder are suitable.

3. When setting the tool on the same workpiece, maintain the same area each time to ensure accurate tool engagement.

4. Use air blowing during roughing operations and oil spray during finishing operations.

5. Before oil spraying during finishing, thoroughly clean the aluminum slag inside the machine tool to prevent it from absorbing oil.

6. Operators must not leave the machine tool during automatic operation or must periodically check its operation. If it is necessary to leave midway, a designated person must supervise.

7. If excessive machining allowance is found during machining, the X, Y, and Z values must be zeroed using "single segment" or "pause," and the excess must be manually milled off before returning to "zero" and allowing it to run automatically.

8. If tool collision is detected during machining, the operator must immediately stop the machine, such as by pressing the "emergency stop" or "reset" button, or setting the "feed rate" to zero.

9. Do not open the machine door while the machine tool is running to prevent the tool or workpiece from flying away.

10. After the workpiece is removed from the machine, it must be cleaned and deburred promptly.

11. At the end of the workday, operators must ensure a timely and accurate handover to guarantee the smooth operation of subsequent processing.

12. Before shutting down, ensure the tool magazine is in its original position, the XYZ axes are centered, and then turn off the power on the machine tool's control panel and the main power supply in sequence.

13. In case of thunderstorms, the power must be immediately cut off and work stopped.
